what. a. shitty. night. ever.
EVER.
mm i dont feel like rambling about this part
so whatever...
that half of the night was shiiiiiiiiit.
so chris and i had no choice but to be let down and left in the city
to do nothing
so we sat in maccas and talked
with each other
and whatever strangers that sat at our table
ahahaha
it was past 1am so we figured we start heading back to his so he could drive me home.
how nice.
what started out to be going through his music
turned into a MASSIVE bonding session in his car for hoursssss
just simply listenning to jazz and beat bop jazz and and big band!
yeah, you could say we hit it off
talking music
because he's a musician and rah rah, does gigs around melbourne
hes a massive conservative haha its brilliant
he doesnt like going out and if he does its to a jazz club
and iv always wanted to go to a jazz club
so im totally going one night
he is a siccccccck as bass player, like, amazing
makes me wanna play guitar more
cos he can sing and play guitar also, and some piano
he was showing me miles davis' stylistic changes throughout his whole career and how he like did crazy stuff in the 40s that sounds like stuff today, it was AMAZING!
oh wow oh wow
iv always loved jazz
but this
fell in love with it all over again
and he rambles like me! haha
the drive home was great
he has the same strong beliefs as i do
and we agree on alot of things in life
so weird that this whole friendship just had a massive growth spurt in one night
like, from just knowing of him from bonnie's photos
to meeting him
then to sitting in his car in my driveway at 6am talking music
brilliant
love moments like that
when you can just sit with someone
and simply listen
to each other
to music
and not have to be anywhere
not really caring about the time
great great. yep.
ps. MARCUS MILLER IS FUCKING AWESOME.
