in our minds..the powerful things
they make us believe we're alone like this

yet all around the world
we are alike
we are connected

we all think similar thoughts
we share the same pain

but don't realise

secrets..
as much as they bind
and trap
and hurt

we're not alone...

we aren't alone in struggle

but we believe so much that we are

alone and confused..far from freedom
unable to untangle
these secrets that strangle

yes they strangle
yes they hurt
thats reality

but reality also is...

the fact...

that we don't fight alone.

we strangle together...

we hope together...

we live and breathe together...

life fades in and out but the phrase still rings strong and true...
